We are all called to share the good news of the gospel with others. Some believers have also been called to join with Jesus in His work of healing the brokenhearted and setting the captives free.

 

Sunodía’s School of Healing Prayer (SHP) is a way of training prayer counselors developed by Sunodía Founder and Director Jessie Mejias that is based on Micah 6:8.

 

The goal of this curriculum is for each student to learn and integrate inner healing and deliverance  with developmental psychology, theology, and counseling skills. 

The School of Healing Prayer

 

The foundational healing models that the SHP uses are Elijah House Ministries and Prayers that Heal the Heart.

The school is designed to train students in these ministries and give them some other tools that they will need to minister healing to others.

The five courses are:

  • Small Group Dynamics
  • Elijah House School of Heart Healing - Course Level 201: Heart Healing Essentials

  • Prayers that Heal the Heart

  • Basic Counseling Skills and Principles

  • Elijah House School of Heart Healing - Course Level 202: Advanced Heart Healing

  • September 12, 2023 through July 23, 2024

Classes meet online via Zoom on Tuesdays from 7 pm to 9 pm EST.
 
It is strongly recommended that candidates for the School of Healing Prayer take the following courses/seminars, when offered:
  • 4 Keys to Hearing God’s Voice 
  • Prayer Counseling Workshop 
  • Healing Trauma Seminar
  • Prayer to Renounce Freemasonry
  • Understanding God’s Design for You

STEP 5:  Download the Pastoral Reference Form & the Character Reference Form

 

 

Have your pastor (or someone in spiritual authority over you) fill out the Pastoral Reference Form and submit it by mail or email. Have another person complete the Character Reference Form and submit it by mail or email.

Instructions for submission are on both forms.

You may submit Pastoral and Character References that were part of applying for the Elijah House 201 course, if available.
